myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

I am a vegetarian and am trying to find out if as in other Caribbean islands that we have visited it is common practice for the salads to have fish or ham in them, which means I can't eat them. Is this a common practice on Tobago? We are thinking of going to Le Grand Courlan. Does anyone know what the vegetarian food is like there? I have contacted the hotel but have not received a response so far.

Vegetarianism isn't as unusual as you'd think in Tobago.

Although I ended up with more than my fair share of eggplant I did just fine last visit.

Hi B,yes the Grafton does cater very well for veggies and as iI recall the salads are salads if there is meant to be meat in them there is ,however the green salads are veg only,regards David
