Hi there,
I'll be going to Tobago at the end of November. Staying first week at the Ocean Point, and the second at the Top River Pearl in Charlotteville.
I want to do some diving at both ends of the island.
Any recommendations for good operators?
Thanks
Marco

Hi Marco
Welcome to the forum.
The nearest decent dive shop to the Ocean Point is World of Watersport at the Hilton Tobago. Otherwise, pop down to Crown Point where you have a choice of Extra Divers, R&Sea Divers and Undersea Tobago. They're all top operatives with little to choose between them.
There is nothing in the same league in Charlotteville. In fact, I would pop down to Speyside (less than a 15 minute taxi drive) to Speyside and use Aquamarine Dive at the Blue Waters Inn.
Now, I'll get back to preparing the dive maps for our forthcoming article.

Thanks for the info Steve. I've contacted both World of Watersports and R&S Divers. Just got to make up my mind I suppose. Location isn't too important as we've got a jeep booked.
I've read that you're putting together a comprehensive listing on the dive operators. Cheeky question - any idea when it'll be published

Sadly not before the end of the year, Marco. The article extends to over 22,000 words with over 50 photographs, so I've decided to launch it with the "new" myTobago rather than divert time to adding it to the existing site.

Hi Marco,
I was over in October and diving both ends. Aquamarine at BWI is about the best there is in Speyside and I use Undersea Tobago down at Crown Point another really good operation but there is a lot more choice down at that end. I think Derek Chung is one of the few places on Tobago you can get Nitrox which is another plus.
WoW do dive up at Speyside but you spend a lot of the day getting up and down the island which would be better spent diving.
Enjoy your holiday.
Regards
Kevin
