Hi Sue,
Tobago is not the best place to go jewellery shopping. My wife is a serious collector and in the 3 years we have been going we have not come back with anything. That said if you are just after local trinkets there is a stall an the beach at Castara that has some nice stuff.

Regards
Kevin

Hi,

The only jewellery shops are in Scarborough. There are two that I know of. I'm sure one of the locals will tell you exactly where they are. The one we went to was just down the road from KFC and you had to go downstairs to it. They have a fairly good selection and will also make / alter items if you need it. I got a new wedding ring as my old one had to be cut off, so I had the new one for my 20th Wedding anniversary. They were extremely friendly and helpful.

As for general shopping, it depends what you want to buy, but Scarborough is the main shopping area, but don't get excited. Whatever you are after, you can guarantee that there will not be as much selection as you get at home, but the prices are reasonable.
