we stayed at the toucan inn last november. we are familiar with the friendliness and beauty of the caribbean in general, but nothing prepared us for the absolute gem that we found in the toucan inn. we took our two youngest teenagers back to tobago in june, but couldnt stay at the toucan, and ended up at the rex turtle beach. (see review). we visited the toucan several times, and the kids could see why we love it so.
this thursday 9th dec, we are going again, but just for one week. the whole place is therapy for a weary soul. the friendliness of EVERYONE is amazing, the slow pace is refreshing, and youve NEVER had a cold beer like the first one troy serves you after landing. just cant wait for ours....!
if you like a simple life with simple pleasures, and you can go with the flow, then the toucan inn is for you.
