extended stay in Tobago

A very fine day to you all! I realize the posts here are geared towards short visits mostly, but I was hoping some of the regular visitors to Tobago could give me insight here. Myself and three other will be visiting the island at the end of this month and we are interested in looking into what it takes to acquire a visa for a 6 month stay. What I am trying to find out here is if anyone has insight on the plausibility of finding a monthly, long-term rental. A standard unfurnished, resident type house is ideally what I am after. My searching so far hasn't been very successful. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Eric

Welcome aboard!

I can't really comment on the visa situation because it varies so much, to be frank. Technically your standard visa will only cover you for the first three months. Nothing is guaranteed after that.

I would have thought that virtually every rental cottage/house/villa would have been available for long-term rental. I can only suggest contacting each and seeing if you can do a deal. Also, contact the local real estate agents, as follows (in no particular order):
