More Boring Questions I'm Afraid!!

Getting a little excited now, with only five weeks to go.

Lyn wants to know does the CCR supply beach towels? If so, what is the score.

Also, we're virtually tee totallers but have decide to go AI. What's the supply of the soft drinks like? Particularly on the beach?

Whilst we usually do go AI (Barbados, Maldives, Seychelles and this one), we don't get strung up about it, and often get out and try other resturants etc, so any Chinese resturants near CCR?

Appreciate your replies so far, so here's hoping for my helpful hints.

Hello Ian

We have stayed at Coco Reef a few times. Yes they do provide beach towels (changed each night). As far as soft drinks go they have all the usual plus a selection of alcohol free cocktails, all available on the beach either by going to the beach bar yourself or waiting for the nice young man to arrive to take your order.

Hope you have a good time, we did.

Hi Ian,

For Chinese restaurants (or any other type for that matter), I recommend a look through the Restaurant listings, starting on http://www.mytobago.info/restaurants01a.php, then use Next to get to the next page etc as you move away from the Airport towards Buccoo. There are 3 or 4 Chinese Restaurants, including Fortunes. Papillon is also now a Chinese Restaurant, though this is not currently mentioned. I've never been to any of them, so best read the reviews for indications of quality.

Thanks for your replies guys, really useful.

Lyn has now asked me the questions "Does the CCR provide tea and coffee making in the rooms"?

That may sound a daft quetsion, but looking at the web pages and brochures it doesn't mention it.

I hope the asnwer is "yes", if it's negative, we're going to have to add a kettle to the suicase, which could displace some of my fishing gear.

Hi again Ian,

Tea making equipment is not supplied as standard but is available if you ask for it.

AI guests can be supplied with kettles etc, but you need to ask for it.
