how crowded has Tobago been?

For those of you who are repeat visitors to Tobago and have recently been on holiday, how crowded are things this year compared to years past? I'm wondering what the impact of the hurricane on Grenada has been. Wondering if it will be harder to get restaurant reservations, etc. We're staying in the Crown Point area, so particularly interested in people's recent experience here.
Thanks, Sharon

Hi Sharon,
It didn't seem crowded
at all out an about (away from Crown Point), but it is worth booking the popular restaurants in CP at present. We made a few mistakes on the first few outings, and found a couple of them fully booked. The outcome was that we discovered some new places to eat though, so not all bad news.

Hi Sharon
Every good hotel on the island is fully booked, so the island is buzzing like never before. Having said that, I have been nowhere yet that seemed crowded. We went for a cup of coffee at Ciao Cafe in Scarborough the other day and commented on the number of white faces around the town, but then realised there was a cruise liner in port, but that's the first time we have mentioned anything. To be totally honest, I'm thrilled. I would really hate it to be busy.
There's no doubt that there's tons of people here, but I guess they're spread about so much that you simply don't notice them. I've had no trouble getting evening dinner reservations at the good restaurants, but as Steve said, its always best to book in advance anyway.
