Me and my girlfriend are planning to go to tobago around january 2006. On my reaserch i found this fabulous page.

We are interested in diving and flyfishing from the shore.

I heard that august should be ideal for tarpon!?! Is that right? I read every fishing topic in this forum and I think it doesn’t matter what time. We like to fish for everything you can catch on a fly rod from the shore (snook, bones, permit and of course tarpon). We are planning to stay somewhere in the lower caribbean area. What area, places, flats, beaches are good
? Where can i get a sea card for this area? Do i need one? What fly patterns? Sorry but i want to know everything about fishing from the shore!

I don't want to take a guide (low budget). I just want to go there with my girlfriend find nice little beaches were we can swim and snorkle, hey and when you can catch a fish there -- PERFECT!!

Thanks
