Sounds like there is going to be a few people wandering round Castara over the next couple of weeks gazing supiciously at everybody else and thinking are you a MyTobago person.

Strikes me here is a wonderful moneymaking oppertunity for our beloved leader. He could supply really tasteful baseball caps with a MyTobago logo and your rank, this would ensure a steady income as a new one would have to be purchased every time you were promoted!

See you all Very Very Soon (I bet that makes the rest jealous)

LOL!
Not just baseball caps. What about T shirts, umbrellas, sunhats with an advert band around, backpacks? .... the list is endless!

Sounds like a myTobago Conference meeting to be held in Castara.

Should I wear my best T-Shirt?

Maybe we should be discreet and adopt mysterious hand signals normally reserved for the Masons?

Are we going to be the Famous Fiveish or something

Sounds like a jolly good wheeze fellows - what's the secret code????

"I type @ dawn" as a password do we think????

And where's the secret meeting place - maybe we have to be really devious chaps and make that at a different bar each time - because of course one doesn't know when 'the enemy' (who they????) might be listening. Sounds like BIG requirement for testing different rum punches to me

oh and who is bringing the tomato sandwiches

(on the other hand you are all probably far too young to know what the hell I'm going on about)!!!

Starting packing tee hee in the snow going to get warmer!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Firstly, watch out for confused looking people wandering around on the beach at 0400 ... these guys will be new arrivals from the day before.

This would be agood time to meet and agree codes for the duration of the stay.

Hope this helps. :D

I had a silly thought when we were in Tobago last week. We take many paperback books. I was thinking that I'd leave a few that we'd finished under a rock or in a tree for subsequent mytobago visitors to find, leaving a clue or two on the forum. Something like a scavenger hunt. I told you it was a silly idea.

Cornelia not such a silly idea!!

Have just looked at the pile of books I'm planning to take - can't believe it!

So have you set the trail? Or am I the first to leave in weird and wonderful locations - do we leave a note inside???? :P

Come on - or do we make it more tricky for people to find the best books!!!! Or on the other hand - do we leave em in the bar to be enjoyed by all 8)

Don't delay in replying - we'd be packing if we were awake!!!

Maureen is packing as we speak and trying desperately to balance Rynairs 15 kilo allowance with the number of books two people with different tastes in literature need for a fortnight.
OK for you lucky people who can drive to Gatwick.
So flight time 15.45 ex Dublin and I'll see you all in Castara

No problem Paul

Just save us some really nice sunny, warm weather for the last 2 weeks April!

To be honest - we're just looking forward to 2 weeks of relaxation on a really nice friendly island - and good weather will be a bonus!

I will do my best Jane ... after all I have a vested interest and consequently the magic weather wand will be more twitchy than usual in the days leading up to departure :D .

Anyway ... my weather forecast for the 12th March is likely to be brought forward to the 11th (Friday) and I will have to suss out what I have at my disposal when I arrive to see what service I can provide 'on location'.

It would be really nice to do the forecasts while I am there ... we shall see.

Cheers

Hi Paul

I hate to say it - but I reckon you're going to be back few days before we go. So just try to leave some nice weather there for us!

After all - we've been waiting for this all year - and it is our 50th birthdays/Silver wedding celebration holiday!

I would have to reply that a very definately have - in fact a little too much!
Paul & the rest of you guys, wishing you all 3 weeks without any Liquid Sunshine in any form. (But what will we do?).

Hi folks,
Regarding identifying people that use the My Tobago site whilst on holiday i think that something as simple as a small badge would be a good idea, that way we could at least say hello and have a chat. :D

Steve

I would like to continue the Liquid Sunshine for the 3 weeks while I am there ... I just need to see what access I can have to the internet when I get there. I guess it is not too expensive either.

The Naturalist in Castara has an Internet Cafe and, although the speed may be slow which could make it difficult navigating around all the weather models I use, hopefully I can do something from there.

I can't give any guarantees at the moment.

You got me wrong Paul - We will be only too pleased to hear from you about the current weather, though you might prefer to relax - I was just hoping that it won't be the "Liquid Sunshine" variety (ie rain) whilst you are there!
