We are going to Rex Turtle Beach in August and are hoping to complete our PADI open water course. Has anyone had experiene of this? Where did you go and would you recommend it? Would be very grateful for the benefit of your experiences.

Chris, although I didn't do my PADI in Tobago, I have dived there and would strongly recommend that you consider the World of Watersports, which is headquartered at Tobago Plantations (Hilton Hotel). The instructer there, Solomon, is just fantastic and the rest of the team are friendly and great fun. The whole set up is one of the best run diving centres I have been to.
