Hi All,
We are staying in a villa in Carnbee in May.
I was just wondering if anybody had any comments on this area?
Many thanks
Mike

Hi Michael,
Wow, still no replies? Most of the resorts are coastal, but Carnbee is inland, about half way between Lowlands and Buccoo as I remember. There is a good Pennysaver's supermarket there if you are self catering that will be useful, and Petrol station nearby next to the Numero Uno utility shop.
Carnbee has a local feel about it, not touristy at all.
For restaurants, you will probably need to venture a little further in one direction or the other, probably north west past Morshead's supermarket and onto the Shirvan road (corner at Michelle's), then turn left to find many restaurants.
Do you mind me asking who you booked the Villa with, as I've not personally heard of many hotels or villas in that area, and keen to find out?

Hi Guys,
Many thanks for your replies.
I found
http://www.holiday-rentals.com to be very useful, but the actual site I found was
http://www.villaeasytimes.com
The villa is owned by a couple in Hampshire, who were very nice to deal with.
Thanks
Mike

Hi Michael
Although I've never been inside it, I do know Villa Easytimes as I have regularly passed it. Its a very nice looking villa on the way between the centre of Carnbee and Mount Pleasant. Like pretty much anywhere decent in Tobago, a car will be essential, but providing you do have a car, then you will be central for anything/everything on the island. The Carnbee Penny Savers supermarket/grocery stalls and pharmacy are just a 1-minute drive. Moorshead gourmet foods just a 2-minute drive the other way. Most of the islands most popular restaurants less than 5 minutes, together with all the lower Caribbean beaches.
If you have any other specific questions, please just yell.
