Hi All

We will be in Tobago in May - June for our wedding, there will be 11 of us but only two children, my Daughters. It is Gemma's 11th birthday on June 1st and she wants an incredible day, as I missed her last birthday (I was in Tobago last year but just with my Fiance), and our wedding will obviously be quite a major focus of the holiday I would like to do something special for her.

Any suggestions for an 11 year old girls birthday in Tobago?

Alternatively anyone taking chldren of similar age? maybe we can invite you to a party?

Thanks

Linda

PS we will be staying at Hummingbird heights in Scarborough but will have transport.

Dear Linda

I don't know if your daughters are boat friendly, but how about chartering a boat to take you out for a birthday barbeque on a beach.

It sounds expensive, but it isn't, we chartered a boat for the day when we were in Tobago last month and it was a fantastic day out for all of us. Ask them to take you somewhere where the sailing time is not long and the sea not too choppy. They can then swim, snorkel and have fun on the beach and i am sure that it will be a trip she won't forget.

If they don't like boats, then speak to Yes Tourism, i am sure that they can come up with some ideas and help you arrange a special birthday treat.

Thanks Tony, I'm sure Gemma would love that.

Am still open to more suggestions though,

Linda

try to picture david with braids...
these haidoes might take some hours and can be a bit painful, so the kid must REALLY want it...
talked to tanja from yes tourism about horse back riding the other day, she said looking out stables is nice. does she like horses (most girls that age do). otherwise if she can take a boatride I would go with tonies idea. a day she will never forget.
in addition there is a great bakery in scarborough (almost oppsite the TSTT building, a bit mor in port direction). they make incredible caces in every shape form or colour. such a cake "for dinner" would give the day the special extra.
enjoy
