myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

I used Sheppy's car rental this March and was very pleased with the service.I arranged it with Yes Tourism.The car arrived as arranged at my hotel and was collected at the hotel at the end of my stay.I paid for a Suzuki Samuri soft top jeep but was given a free upgrade to a Suzuki Jimmy. The car was reliable but slightly battered and worn. It was so hot i could not tolerate the heat of the sun with the top down! I rented the car for 10 days and it cost £256. I would use Sheppy's again.

I booked with Sheppy directly via his website. Unlike most Tobagan rental firms, he answered his emails fairly promptly, which was a good start. I was very happy with both the service and the vehicle. No, it wasn't as new as an international company's model might be, but he wasn't charging international company prices either. It was safe and the aircon worked, what more would you want? We covered 1000km in it without any trouble. Excellent value for money, friendly service, I'll use him next time I visit Tobago.

Hallo, we know Sheppy since 10 yaers.And we like him. His cars are not always working.But his service is exellent.
Just a question : How do You drive 1000 km on this funny little island ?
