If you are wondering who to book with, then look no further. We (two adults, two children) did the PADI open water course with R & Sea, and had a wonderful experience. They were everything that we later came to expect from Tobago: friendly, welcoming, easy-going, flexible. They were just laid-back enough to show a family of Brits what life is really all about, but not so much as to make us feel vulnerable. Both the instructors were excellent, and had a good rapport with the youngsters, and they gave us a lot of confidence. We are now hooked on diving, and want to go back soon. It is a small but well-run organisation, with a personal touch. The experienced divers we spoke to were also very complimentary.

And Wendy answers emails the same day you send them, and provides an unofficial tourist office for independent travellers too!

What more can I say in reply to that last post. i have just returned from my 5th visit to Tobago. plucking up the courage to complete my PADI OW. R&sea were just the best. The instructors were just fab. Making it very easy to put all that I had read into practice. They were reliable, and so so friendly. They made each dive more and more exciting. In relation to prices between each company. I believe its reflective with what you get with the end result. With this small but personal company you get the best. You feel safe, they know ur limits and try and show you everything under the water. You get variety with each dive and most of all, which that book drums into you, with this team you get to have fun too. Thanku so much R&sea. Have already booked my place on the boat for Sept....
