Dear All,

planned to travel Tobago in April 03, but I don´t get any reliable information abt where to rent windsurf staff or waveriding staff. Anyone out htere who cd tell me abt that ? Moreover: I wanna stay at Seaside garden at the beach of Buccoo. I was told its next to the Sunday School. Anyone who cd tell me whether the beach is nice, is it nice for 4 years old child? nice beach to play with sand ? how long to get along Pigeon Point beach ? Any restaurants ard this Seaside garden ? Hi Marc Board rental is available at Pigeon Point (past the shops, bars and main tourist area) and faces Buccoo and Plymouth. From Mid day to late afternoon a stiff breeze is usually to be experienced at this venue and sail boarders and Kite surfers all hang out here. There is a large area of shallow, reef protected water as far out as the nylon pool and buccoo reef. I would suggest that this is a venue for beginers up to experienced boarders, but as I have never tried the sport myself (perhaps one day) it seems to me that it would suit just about all levels of competence. No big waves or surf though. You could also try Mount Irvin watersports on Mt Irvin Bay. They rent out windsurf boards, kayaks and surboards. There is usually a 1 - 2 metre surf to the right of the bay, by the Mt Irvin Hotel. Hope that this helps. PS the beach at Buccoo is nice.

Marc The Seaside Garden at Buccoo Beach is about a 10 minute drive away from Pigeon Point. Buccoo is a lovely sandy beach (about 1.2 killometers long) just right for a child to play on. Advise you check our forum for current situation at Pigeon Point Can recommend two restaurants in this area - La Tartaruga Restaurant (expensive) and The Polo Bar (a walk away from Buccoo Beach and modestly priced)
