We are getting married at Coco Reef on 31st August. I'd like to end the day with a romantic meal out somewhere - can anyone recommend somewhere appropriate. We are both vegetarian too.

Arrived home from coco Reef a week ago, saw quite a few beautiful weddings, but most seemed to dine in tamara's afterwards. The food is excellent!

The wedding meal is, I believe, part of the package. We dined there every night for two weeks and found the menu varied enough. We had planned to dine out but didn't bother in the end.
For the wedding meal they put us out in the open just below the main restaurant and we saw other wedding parties there except those with lots of guests. The menu was personalised with our names printed on it which we thought was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful romantic meal at Patinos, Shirvan Road, the setting is beautiful although you would need a taxi. I am not sure how well they cater for vegetarians.
I hope your wedding is as beatiful as ours was.

Thanks for that recommendation Linda. Does anyone else have any ideas of the type of food served at Patinos?

Hi Tracey
I guess you would best describe it as the usual International/Caribbean fusion. They tend to have theme nights - unchanging over all the years I can remember and garishly advertised by a huge roadside sign in neon colour outside. One of their 'specialities' is their Thai Sizzling dishes.
Service can be rather surly and very slow, the service charge allegedly covers table cloth and napkins and not the staff and you might be the only diners there, but Patino's is actually capable of producing extremely good food. I remember my parents and sister/friend joining us for a couple of weeks three years ago. We went to a different restaurant every night. For our last night we took a vote on where everyone wanted to return. Patino's was the unanimous choice.
