Time Difference

What is the time difference between Tobago and Texas USA? We are in the central daylight savings time zone? We are going to Tobago in July for our very first visit and I can hardly wait.

Pat,
Tobago is two hours ahead of Central Standard Time. As far as I know, Tobago does not observe Daylight Savings Time as we do here, so the current time difference should be one hour (i.e. Tobago is the same as Eastern Daylight Time).
My family and I got all mixed up coming back from Tobago over Easter as the time change occurred the morning we flew out and Continental got the arrival and departure times goofed up for our layover in Newark.

I think you will find it is only 1 hour at present. ie Tobagos is same as EST.

http://www.worldtimeserver.com incredibly helpful - just put in the place you are interested in and it will tell you the current time.

Oops sorry, finger trouble - it's too early in the morning. I meant to say EDT not EST!

Thank you both so much. I was trying to figure it out using GMT and got really confused. My initial thought was EDT but then I got messed up and was way off base. My husband thought I was crazy because he had it figured out as 1 hour difference. We will be there July 16-23 to celebrate our 40th anniversary.
