Has anyone recently stayed in the Sherwood Park apartments?

Yes, my wife and I stayed there in 2000 for 10 days and my father spent a week there last autumn. The apartments are very nice indeed, although not luxurious, and containing kitchennetes and bathrooms. A/c is an option with some of them (ask) and specify if you can what floor you want etc (view from the first floor is v good). The gardens and pool are delightful and staff really laid back and friendly - give my regards to the manager Nigel if you stay, a decent guy. I hear they have opened a little shop now, which is good as the shops in Carnbee village (two good little bars there and local taxis run up and down to the beaches) are at the bottom of a steep hill - getting there is easy, just getting back up again with your bags in the sun gets hot. Andy who works there will do you a rental car, but although he is very honest he let down a friend of mine last years by turning up at his hotel (Gran Courlan) late, and without the jeep he had ordered but a car. Need any other info from me? Enjoy

Further to your question, I visited the Sherwood Park Apartments 3 weeks ago and had already e=mailed the Mytobago website to say how nice it was. We had no idea when we booked it what the apartment (or Tobago!) would be like but I could not have found anywhere better. The apartments are in a lovely, quiet location, with beautifully kept gardens and a pool. Moreover the service was fantastic - the apartment was cleaned every day, You can use the reception phone to call taxis or to call anywhere on the island free of charge, and the staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. I cannot recommend it enough, really! I hope you do visit the apartment and that you enjoy Tobago as much as I did.
