Pls recommend birdwatching trips to Little Tobago for the older twitchers. we live in Pleasant Prospect at present. also if you could suggest anyone who could take us on a short-ish but v instructive rainforest that would be great. thanks.

That's an easy one, Rachel. For specialist bird watching tours you really can't do better than Newton George (as featured on the BBC Holiday program recently). His primary expertise is ornothology, but Newton is also one of Tobago's only two official THA rainforest rangers, so his knowledge of flora and fauna and the rainforest in particular is probably second to none. Not only is he an experienced guide (33 years experience), but he is also a damn nice companion during any tour. Newton lives in Speyside, but will collect you and tour any part of the island. He can be contacted at (868) 660-5463 or emailed at [email protected].
