myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hi Paul..We're off on Thursday for 2 weeks,went last year and hardly saw any rain, having read your comments I believe it will be different this year though.Am now worried - will the plane be able to land in Tobago,what exactly is a tropical storm and will we see much sunshine?
To those of you well - travelled people reading this,my apologies for the gormlessness of the questions,but until one has experienced any of these,ones imagination takes over and magnifies(hopefully) the conditions!

A Tropical Storm is like one of those autumnal storms you see in Britain around October, accept that they carry alot more rain.

I am not predicting a direct hit on Tobago from Emily, so there should be little more than heavy rain ... I am a little more worried about another Storm brewing in the Atlantic that could reach the Caribbean for the weekend.

But it is early days ... you should be OK for Thursday.
