do any of the photo shops handle flash cards from digital cameras? Can you recommend a place or person to get flowers for our wedding end april.

Hi Smerf, checking around with the two photoshops in Tobago, none of them process them, but the Fotomart outlet at Crown Point sells the cards (however do not have many in stock). With regards to flowers you could check out Daisy's Flower Shop in Scarborough o(uptown in Robinson Street, next to Blue Crab Restaurant) at 660-7748 or Romance Garden (TLH Building in Scarborough, close to port) at 635-0827 Hope this helps.

Hi Smerf/Tanya, regarding flowers for your wedding, yes both Romance Garden and Daisy's are good for flowers. It's a good idea to let them have your colour scheme in advance though, as their flower supplies come in weekly. I usually buy the flowers and prepare bouquets. I also order orchids directly from a farm in Trinidad. Let me know if you need any more info on this.

As an compliment to Daisy's Shop: asking for a bouqet for our marriage on the 14th (!!) of February the afternoon before (not knowing what Valentines Day means on Tobago), they managed it to the next early morning. Thanks again.

Hi Smerf I'm not sure if you mean 'can I buy a smart card whilst on Tobago' or 'can I download and have photos printed/copied to disc'. Photomart on the corner of Milford Rd and Pigeon Point Rd may sell them but you could pay twice the price. I bought a lithium battery for my camera there and paid well over double the UK price. They would certainly have a PC and photo quality printer but would charge you big bucks to convert to printed photos. If you want to download snaps to print out on paper, or save to CD to free up some memory space on your card, you could take your camera's software CD away on holiday with you along with the USB connection cable. You might find that your hotel or other kind person with a PC or laptop with a CD re-writer would allow you to load the camera's software and download the photos or print out the snaps. Personaly, I wouldn't rely on either. I would buy a spare 16 or 32 meg flash card from your local photo store or in the airport of your departure. Happy snapping. Steve
