Rise In Airfare To Tobago?!

You guys! i just saw on the news that Tobago Express has applied for a rise in airfare between POS & Crown Point- from $200 to a ridiculous $500! They claim that it is not economical for Tobago Express to operate on the present $200 airfare, even with the Gov't subsidising the additional $100 (otherwise it would cost $300). Now guys, this isnt about being cheap, eh... It's just utterly ridiculous in my opinion, as Crown Pt. isnt that far awayfrom POS. I also feel that nobody but Tobago Express stands to benefit from the rise in airfare. If, for instance, a portion of the airfare was being used to improve something on Tobago (wishful thinking, i know... 
) then i would feel more comfortable about paying that kind of price .
Now, I'm not normally one for travelling by boat ,as i have little patience for long journeys (not to mention the sea- sickness), but i can well imagine myself becoming a regular passenger on the Linx .
