Just back from 10 days in Tobago. Arranged via email for three vehicles for our party of 12. Sheppy met us at the airport with the vehicles at midnight (three hours later than our planned arrival time). Don't worry about notifying him of flight delays. He's on it. Because of the late hour, he suggested we postpone the paperwork until the next day. Very thoughtful given our exhausted state and the late hour.

With regard to you car hire with Sheppy. Did your cost include insurance, delivery and additional driver?

We are thinking of going with Sheppy in October and I was interested to see that all they required was an email to book the car. Did they confirm the booking prior to your arrival?

Cost 40 US per day included all insurance and no additional cost for extra drivers. We had a five drivers for the three vehicles required for our party of 12.

Sheppy replied almost immediately to my initial email request regarding cost and availability and required no deposit to hold the vehicles for our arrival. He met us at the airport with the cars and gave me his cell phone number in case we needed anything.

It was a pleasure doing business with him, in fact it was hugs and handshakes all the way around when we returned the cars.

I can also highly recommend Sheppy's for car rental. We were exceptionally disorganised and only decided to hire a car the evening before - but this was no problem. Sheppy was very friendly and the process of organising the car was quick and hassle-free. We paid $250TT a day for an automatic 5-seater car, and for an extra $100TT were able to arrange for the car to be picked up from Charlotteville.
