Hello all, am moving to Tobago to live at the end of April - I have been researching 20 foot container shipping prices from UK to Port of Spain - coming in at around £1400. This seems OK, but I should be grateful if anyone could recommend a cheaper (or the most reliable if all prices are similar) shipping/overseas removal firm? There would appear to be a couple of ships a month plying the route, but a multitude of brokers offering containers and I have never shipped anything before. Thanks,

Hi Glyn, Try West Indies Freight Company. I think they are based in Essex. When I shipped some barrels over a few years ago, they were very helpful, efficient and reasonable. Good luck!

Thanks very much Philip and Marie - I wanted to find a UK based shipper so have tracked down the West Indies Freight Ltd website and emailed them for some quotes - I will post a note when all this is over with tips for others shipping gear out. Still receptive to any other tips though, regards
