:D We have just returned from two weeks in Tobago ( Our first time) and we used Tobago Now which is owned and operated by 'Fab' ( Fabrizio) and his wife Claire.
We went on a couple of trips with our two children aged 8 & 11, the first being a 1/2 day rainforest tour which was led by 'Fab' who we found to be an excellent and informative guide. The walk was colourful and interesting and a must if you want to experience nature close up.

The second trip was the full day ' Off Road Jeep Safari'. This was amazing, we saw places we would have never got to see as part of a real 'Indiana' style adventure. The vehicles and driving were of the highest quality, with refreshments provided as we travelled off the beaten track. We were informed of interesting facts and stopped at numerous places to appreciate spectacular views, wildlife and local culture.

The local meal provided at the Arnos Vale plantation was very enjoyable and good natured banter provided by Fab, Dennis and Wesley( the drivers of each jeep) ensured we started the afternoons adventure in good spirits.

The 'Off Road Jeep Safari' is a MUST - Tremendous fun provided by great hosts.

Hello folks -

I would like to chime in and add to David & Erika's recommendations. My family and I (two middle aged Americans and two teenage girls) went on Fab's day-long off-road excursion at the end of March this year, and it was the highlight of our trip. Fab is a wonderful guide, knows the backcountry well, and provides one of the best tours for the money in Tobago.

Lunch at Arnos Vale plantation is superb, the waterfall swim is spectacular, and the views of the backcountry are something you will never get on your own unless you spend a lot of time in Tobago.

 pre arranged all our excursions with Fab before our visit to Tobago. His web site is very informative and offers trips and sights of the island above and beyond the usual organised ones offered to the tourist. I was impressed that all my e mails were answered promptly. No question I presented was too much trouble for him to reply too. Do ask his advice if you are unsure of any aspects of the excursions. It would be a great shame not to try out what he offers.

Take an Off Road Safari - great fun, delightful sights, wonderful swim at the waterfall and delicious lunch at Arnos Vale. Fab and Dennis were our guides and drivers for this trip. Both very genuine guys. We were well looked after (plenty of soft drinks in the cool box for us to help ourselves to). Really enjoyed the thrill of the drive. Their knowledge and willingness to tell us much about Islands History and nature was impressive. The Mot Mot and Caymen were a bonus.

The Rainforest Trip was amazing. Yes it did rain and we did get rather muddy. Just be prepared and take the right gear. Fab picked us up at 6a.m. from our hotel and after an hour drive to reach our start location he offered us a carefully prepared breakfast of wonderful home made muffins, tea coffee and juice.

The walk was challenging but just pace yourself and take time to stop and experience the unique opportunity offered by Fabs excursion to see the beauty of the rainforest - amazing waterfalls, resident birds, flora and imagine a time when the track was used by the islanders.

Tobago is a wonderfull. Let Fab share his knowledge with you and reveal some of its secret places.

Horse Riding also great fun and well thought out.

Wish we had more time to take up his offer of a tailormade excursion but thats a good enough reason to visit again
