Hi Sonia, Glad you've decided to get married while you're here in Tobago! You'll need to be on the island for three full days before applying for your marriage licence and can be married any time after that. The location can be anywhere you choose as long as it's before 6pm! It's best to get clothes and rings before you come as you'll have more choice back home. Other than that, it's all straightforward. If you'd like to contact me directly on
[email protected] I can answer any other questions or concerns you may have. Regards, Marie, Tobago Weddings

Hi Sonia, I think we might be neighbours next week, so I'm packing my top hat and tails just in case they're needed. David

Congratulations! I hope your ceremony went smoothly and delightfully!
Love to hear about how you worked out the details.
Cheryl and i were in Castara March 27th through March 30th, and then back again April 4th through April 8th. We were the middle aged looking newly-weds, eating fish from the local fishermen, buying our parboiled rice and hotsauce from the downtown shop, and staying at the Naturalist Beach house, at the west end of the beach. The beach was very quiet, as far as tourists were concerned, so chances are good that of the very few people we saw from off-island, you were one of them! How uncany, to think that you may have been one of the couples snorkling at the Little beach, or one of the couples strolling 'downtown' or on the main village beach! 'Course, you may have been one of the couples so delightfully in love that you never left the guest house. Wish I had known to congratulate you then and there, I'd have been good for a few drinks on my tab, at Cascreole or where-ever.
Please post a tale of your wedding, it would be wonderful for all of us to hear of your wonderful event.
Again, Congratulations, and I wish you both much peace and intimacy in you coming years!
Frank
