Pigeon Point Sale Completed

It is with very great pleasure that I can announce that the long-awaited sale of Pigeon Point was completed last Monday and that 60-acre estate now belongs to the people of Tobago.
The government (THA) paid the ANSA/McAl conglomerate subsidiary that owned the land TT$106m (approx £9.1m) for the peninsula. The THA has not announced their plans for the property and there wasn't even a formal handing-over ceremony as they want to return the property it to its former pristine condition before doing so.
I am certainly no fan of government-run institutions, so still have serious concern about the future of Pigeon Point. I am just grateful, however, that the property has be wrestled away from Sabga and his friend Heather McKenna, whose confrontational style has done nothing but harm to Tobago.
