Peacock Mill

Does anybody know if the Peacock Mill Restaurant, Friendship Estate, Canaan still exists? Can't find it on this site neither in the restaurant section, nor under the rubric "Closed restaurants" It was highly recommended on our visit in 2001 but we missed it because it was closed on Saturdays. Do we have another chance?

Yes, I believe it does.
I confess that I had forgotten it in the listing. Well, not so much forgotten it as having no information on it. I have heard the name mentioned - probably once - but once is virtually non-existent. Its not listed in the current Yellow Pages for the island, but I have come across a brief mention from an American lady who visited it in July 2005 and liked the pumpkin soup. So, that's current enough for me and I've added it to the listings. I'll try to remember to check it out on my next visit. If anybody else knows anything about it, please let us know here.

Sounds like somebody should visit the establishment to check out what it is like. OK - I'll give them a chance in two months.....
