Getting there:
Everything smooth to Trinidad. Ran into a 'pilot strike' so our 3pm flight on Tobago Express was delayed until 8pm, when they finally filled a BWIA 737. And it's a 90 minute taxi ride ($75 with tip, for night trips) for the 26 miles to Blue Waters Inn (BWI).
Getting back:
We ran into the same fill-the-flight mentality on the way back to Trinidad. The passengers from the 11am flight and the noon flight were simply grouped with those for the 1pm flight, and we finally departed. Good thing we had allowed more than enough time for the connection. And once checked in at the American Airlines counter, it was smooth sailing back home.
