Hi. Thanks for running a magnificent site. Thumbs up!

I'll be going to Tobago on thursday and of course had a look at your 'calendar of events'. I see a Harvest Festival is going on in Scarborough on the 20th, close to where we'll be staying.

So, I was wondering if someone has any tips on what to do to experience it best, where to go a.s.o. To be frank, I don't really know what it is, but it happens while we're there, so I'd like to find out.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Christian,Harvest Festivals are religious days to celebrate a good harvest and to raise funds for the Church. There are Episcopalian(Anglican),Roman Catholic,Methodist and Moravian services held all over the island starting at the beginning of November till the beginning of December.People decorate their homes and take their best produce to church, usually to be auctioned off for charity. An idea of what goes on is,in the Anglican church they have a Eucharist in the morning and Cantata in the afternoon. The first festival this season is in Scarborough and is a Roman Catholic service.Go along and enjoy the fellowship and some fantastic singing.Hope this has been some help.
Regards David(29 days to go    )
