Hello everyone. Steve mentions in his review of Top River Pearl in Charlotteville that there is a "mini-mart" that sells some basics. Can you purchase ice and beer in Charlotteville? Just wondering if I need to stock up at the Pennysavers before arriving in Charlotteville. I wouldn't want to run out of beer! (21 days to go!)

Dianne,Yes and yes and do have a roti at Miss Lydda's on Thursday lunchtime!You can get most things in C'ville,fresh friut and veg from the rasta man was absolutely wonderful and of course fish from the co-op.

This is a joke, right? Of course you can buy beer in Charloteville. They are for sale in a couple of mini-marts at least. Even late at night, there is a small bar on the same street as Top River Pearl, midway between the motel and the dock. Just follow the music and you'll find it.
