My breath was taken away the moment we arrived at Coco Reef and were shown through the lobby onto the terrace. It was 30 degrees, humid and I was faced with white sand, blue sea and palm trees. It was an overcast afternoon but hardly U.K. overcast. In fact we had good weather in general - only 3 hours of rain in the whole of our 7 days.
The staff at Coco Reef are all so friendly and can't do enough for you. The small problem we had with our toilet was quickly rectified by a maintenance man.

Our wedding day was perfect and Kevah, the wedding co-ordinator made us feel very special and important even though there was only the two of us. The music, cake and flowers were gorgeous too and if I could do it all again, I honestly wouldn't change a thing. When we got back to our room there were a group of chambermaids nearby who made James carry me over the threshold!! Inside we found the floor covered in petals and a congratulations to us on the bed. It's these little touches that made us feel special during our stay.

We really enjoyed our little trips to Pigeon Point, Store Bay, The Rainforest and Argyle Waterfalls but Scarborough was a disapointment for us. It didn't have a good friendly atmosphere compared to the others and there were no gifts to buy apart from food. We were also hustled and it was pouring with rain....maybe this had alot to do with it.

I would recommend Tobago to anyone who's looking for tranquility, beautiful beaches and a culture change!! Apparently there are plans in the future for a large capacity nightclub to be built at Coco Reef, which in my opinion would spoil it.
Tobago is highly recommended by us for your wedding or holiday and our only regret is not taking our daughter.

P.S. We would like to say a big hello to Mr and Mrs Yates of Sussex who were on board our sunset cruise and sent along two glasses of bubbly on the flight home....thankyou x
