Dear everyone. I would just like to eulogize over the demise of the lovely french bakery in Scarborough, la Petite Patisserie. It seems to have vanished from the face of the Melancholy Isle which I find rather sad. A local gentleman told us they had folded up because of lack of customers. Does anyone know if they just have relocated?

Yes, you are so right. I regret to say I heard the same. However, if they had been based in the Crown Point/Canaan area I think they would have found good business, but tooked away in the back of Upper Scarborough meant they didn't benefit from the overseas trade. As far as I know they have closed for good.
