Hi, I'm paying my first visit to Tobago in March - and very much looking forward to it. I've just been trying choose accommodation in Charlotteville, which sounds a great place to stay for a while.

Speaking to the people at Cholson Chalets, they would want me to send them the full amount for my stay in advance. I'd expect to have to pay a deposit, but it seems unreasonable to insist on the full lot up front. Any comments on whether this is accepted practice in Tobago?

We have stayed at Cholson and paid the whole lot up front.

Oliver,it is not unusual when booking at such short notice.You would have to do similar in the UK.
