Can anyone who has recently been to Charlotteville tell me if the sea kayaking is still in operation, as we are very keen to do this when we visit next month. Someone told me that they thought the business was going up for sale.

We tried to call by on our one visit to Charlotteville just a couple of week ago, but Clark was out. His shop door was opened when we returned a few hours later, but we were out of time so couldn't stop.

Sad to say, Clark is selling his sea kayaking business and moving to Majorca. My latest information (2 weeks ago) was that he had not sold the business yet and so therefore had no closure date. Hopefully you will be in luck. Please give him my regards.

Thank you for the information, Steve. Sounds as if the sale offers some of you Tobago enthusiasts a prime opportunity!

Yes, assuming that you are an expert sea kayak instructor.

We visited Clarrk whilst we were in Tobago last week and he is indeed selling the business and is getting married in London in July.
He intends to start a new set up in Majorca but has not finalised yet but it should be called Sol y mar and I would recommend that if you are over there to look him up (maybe it will be in Santa Ponsa).
Regards
Paul
