Just returned from a two week stay at Birdies Nest. We stayed in the front ground floor apartment which was clean and tidy. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen adequate for all our needs. Prince has just bought a bar-b-cue so that will be even better, especially for the fresh fish bought at Mount Irvine Beach. Prince and his mum were so good as hosts of this property and made us feel very welcome. The beach is a stone's throw away from the front door and if you time it right, as we did, you get to see the turtles coming up the beach to lay their eggs. There was clean linen and towels every 4 days and Prince and his mum pop down on a regular basis to ensure that everything is fine. The accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle of Black Rock but without you feeling that you are isolated. We will definitely be back next year and hope the weather is as good as it was this time around.
