Excursions on Tobago

On a recent holiday in Tobago I had the great pleasure of going on two excursions - one up into the rain forest and one on the catamaran Island Girl. The rain forest trip was with Harris MacDonald, mentioned in the Rough Guide to Tobago. He made a stunning trip very enjoyable with his vast knowledge of birds, fauna and flora and also his local history. The second trip was on Island Girl, a catamaran, that took us to beautiful bays ideal for snorkelling over lovely coral reefs and seeing turtles and a stingray. The hospitality was absolutely first class (lunch cooked on a barbeque at the back of the boat) and the boat was superb. I would highly recommend both of these trips to anyone wishing that little bit extra from their holiday.
