Good news!
Trinidad and Tobago has now been declared a rabies free zone :D
So any compassionate holiday makers to Tobago can now bring a dog or cat back to the UK without the costly 6 month quarantine which was needed.
No more excuses now for not rehoming one of the gorgeous, friendly and loveable hounds at the dog sanctuary :D

Hello Anna

That's great news, but where did you get this information? I need to check it out so that I can update the relevant pages on the site.

Hi Steve,
I got the info from Andrea Cochran, the secretary at the TSPCA dog sanctuary in Tobago.
It is a shame but their website is nolonger working (http://www.tspca.org)
so anyone wanting to find about them will have difficulty now.
Limited info can be found at http://www.tobagoisland.com/tspca/
Best wishes and yours for the pot hounds :D
Anna.

Hi Steve (and Anna!),

I heard the same thing whilst on Tobago Channel 5's website... (between this site and TC5's... I have no 'real' life!!).
