Whilst I have always been happy with booking my Excel flights with Travel Republic and I know that many use Golden Caribbean happily you can now book flights directly on http://www.xl.com/ and they are offering some exceptional deals to launch their winter departures and you can find flights for only £285 including all taxes for the Thursday flight and only slightly more for the Saturday one.
Sadly we will not be able to take advantage ourselves.

Thanks for that information. Like you, we will not be able to take advantage of the offer having already booked but it's always nice to think that someone may benefit.
