We tend to travel to these wonderful places on the off-season, and occasionally have wound up iin areas where there was NOTHING open or happening. Anyone have any sense of what it is like in Tobago in September? Are most places open/closed/rather we stayed away?

Hi Jason

Sadly there are no other kayak operators on the island - at least not that I know of and therefore I would be a little concerned about safety/reliability of anyone else.

There is just one possibility. Contact Fabrizio 'Fab' Ceppi of Tobago Now Tourism (mailto:[email protected] ). Fab is a really cool young Swiss Italian who has been living on Tobago for some years. He specialises in 'adventure' tours and activities. His off-road safaris are the real business and I can't recommend them highly enough. Anyway, I know that Fab offers kayaking on his website, although I suspect that they were through Clarke at Tobago Sea Kayak. However, if there is anyone else worth using, Fab is sure to know. Frankly he's worth knowing about any way.
