myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Well first off, i got to start saying thx for a very good website, I was very impresed when found it, and even more when discoviring the community "forum" and that ppl from tobago are also on here and reading in and helping out!.

Well im off for tobago my second time this late december "30dec-14jan-07" Last time i was in tobago i was uhmm... 4-5years old? So sadly only remmber glimps off this paradise.

This time im comming over with my girlfriend and brought my little brother with me. So im offcurse wondering where we schould go to party the newyear? Is their anny beach "party" Or anny place where most off the locals meets up, and if so are the tourists also invited to that kind off happening. Like to add to this that im pretty young, only 23 so far . Im offcurse aware that tobago aint a hole night party place, wich will suit me perfect on this trip!!!.

But newyear, is well newyear and could be fun to start the vacation with that.

Other then that i dont have anny real questions as the website cover most off it, toghter with questions already add on this great forum. So thanks once again!

As the 31st December is a Sunday, the Sunday Scool in Bucco would be an option. It's near the beach, mainly a local party and tourists are of course welcome.
It starts with a steelpan band, followed by a Reggae and Socca party until
the early morning. The Sunday Scool happens every Sunday and is the
main party spot on the island.

I guess there will be some other new years eve parties on Tobago.

Mikael,welcome to the site.You did not say where you were staying.Depending on where you were would depend on what you should expect.If you are staying near Buccoo,then Sunday School is an option,otherwise travel will be expensive.
I will be in Castara for Old Year,so it could be Cascreole,Coddries or Boathouse.

hehe very good point, im staying in crown point actully, sandy pnt hotell.

Manny places with great beaces as tobago has a habit off haveing very good partys at the beaches during big fests like newyear, thats why the question springed to mind.

Yeah sundayschool is abit away if i read the map right , Well who knows first day in sun on 31 for me and comming from a 20hours dark days in sweden i guess i might just stick around in crownpoint areas =).
