Tobago at Easter?

My husband, myself and two teenagers were planning to go to Tobago at Easter 2007 for a couple of weeks. We are likely to be staying in Charlotteville or Castara during the actual Easter weekend when all the festivities take place. We have heard that Easter is the equivalent of carnival, so I was just wondering what to expect. My husband has quite a stressful job so isn't too keen on masses of noise, particularly at night, whilst on holiday, so I was wondering if we should change our plans and go in the summer holidays instead (when, of course, the weather won't be so good). Anyone out there have any views on what we might expect if we go at Easter?
Many thanks!
