Hi.Just read forum and wondering if anyone has any info on the
wedding planner everyones talking about?Is it best to hire one?
What are prices of weddings like?Is there a good selection of
florists, catereres etc on the island????
Photos of tobago look amazing but wondering how fesible planning
a wedding while not in the country would be.
Any help appreciated

Welcome aboard!

The Marie regularly referred to througout this forum is Marie Daines of Tobago Weddings (http://www.TobagoWeddings.com). She is, as far as I know, the only professional wedding planner on the island - and certainly the very best (which is probably why she has no competition).

I can't tell you anything about prices as I have no experience. No, there is only a limited selection of good florists and caterers, etc., on the island - which is why it is important to use someone like Marie, who knows and only uses the best. Without wishing to over-hype Marie, her expertise is in the fact that NONE of her clients are in the country. I think it is probably safe to say that she has never met any of her clients before they arrive on the island a few days before the wedding, but I've never heard a negative report - just the opposite.
