Steve, I wonder whether if you have heard yet about the kayaking at Charlotteville yet, Jill's review made it sound such fun I do hope it is up and running when we go in January. Thanks in anticipation for any news.

Hi Joransen

No, I haven't heard anything at all - but your question has prompted me to write to a Charlotteville contact to ask if the new guy has arrived. I will post a response here as soon as I hear anything solid.

Hi again, Joransen

I've just had confirmation that the new owner, Mike, is not yet on Tobago. He's in the States, waiting for a knee operation. Sadly, as with all things medical, its impossible to predict exactly what is happening. I will keep you posted as and when I hear anything.

Cheers for that Steve. I personally - having had knee problems myself - with the best will in the world to the new owner would doubt that he will be fit and have his business up and running by the time we arrive. Are there any other kayaking operators that you know of and that are reputable?

Hi Joransen

Sadly, none that I know of. A couple of places around Crown Point have kayaks, but I think they're more "paddlers" toys than serious sea kayaks like Clark had.
