travel times

Hey didnt see a more suitable forum for this topic so here
goes...how long is the journey from blackrock, grafton area
to Castara? And is there public transport or are we better off
catching a cab?

I believe route taxis ply that route. Not sure, but I'm sure our local transport guru, David, will be able to answer that question far better than me. I reckon the journey should take no more than 25-35 minutes.

Hi Bec,if you can get a route taxi from Black Rock to Castara it is a wonderful trip,and inexpensive,also buy your driver a lunch.I would agree about Steves timing.Busses no.One would have go to Scarbro' and then take bus to Castara,and then hope you can catch the return!
