We’ve just returned from 2½ weeks hols in Tobago, our 3rd visit in 16 months and it just gets better and better.
For inexpensive eating, we recommend L&H in Castara. In Speyside try Jemma’s and, possibly even better, Redman’s next door.
Best food on the Island we believe to be at Melange. Not expensive (TT$169 for 3 course dinner) unless you drink the French wine – go for the new world options. The food is all local produce but given a “Haut Cuisine” twist. The results are truly world class but highly original. The building is owned and was built by the Chef who consolidated his other businesses to open it. And not a single mosquito seen on 3 visits.
