Stray Animals - TTSPCA

It is with considerable embarrassment that I must apologise to readers who have read our article on Stray Animals on Tobago (menu: Odds & Sods/Health & Safety/Stray Animals) and then click on the link to the TTSPCA (Trinidad & Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) only to be taken to a porn site.
The association’s previous domain was allowed to lapse and was promptly re-registered by a East European porn organisation. This is a normal event when domains lapse because these horrible people hope to ‘leech’ traffic from old websites that have been taken off-line for one reason or another.
Anyway, after hearing that the TTSPCA had lost their website I decided to offer my humble services and am sponsoring them with a new domain and website. Sadly – and most embarrassingly – I changed the link on our Stray Animals page but clearly forgot to change the underlying link code. So, readers were still being directed to the “old” site.
All of which goes to prove that the mind does not improve with increasing age and that maybe I am ready for the knackers yard – if not the dog pound.
