I stayed at the Golden Thistle in October 2006 and I thought that it was a beautiful place to stay. It was away from all the hustle and bustle and cars and noise, yet it was only 5 mins away from the Airport LITERALLY !! My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. We learnt that it was under new Management and the price Of course helped us do other things that we really wanted to do. The Kitchenette was sufficient but we hardly cooked anyway!
We thought it was lovely and would recommend it to anyone who is on a tight budget, but still want somewhere decent to stay! Thanks Golden Thistle!
