Hi Alex,

The song is called "Cold Sweat" by Crazy.

http://profile.imeem.com/9bctAG/music/X ... soca_2007/

We have been looking on the web for somewhere to buy it since we got home with no luck.

It is a great song!

Hi Alex,

We went to Tobago 2 years ago when it was Carnival time. The whole island was buzzing with carnival fever and music was being played loudly everywhere. When we got home we found all the songs on-line on - http://www.toronto-lime.com/music/index.htm

Try the site, it may help you re-live some your Tobago memories.

Regards.

Caron

I first heard the song almost a month ago when I was in Trinidad. It is making me smile right now, remembering reactions and looks on people's faces when it started. Bliss, 'happy', don't even begin to describe it

Came across this website izatrini.com which has some podcasts with what seems like many, if not all of 2007 calypsos. There is a separate page on the website which gives the names and artists of the songs.

I do not know if the podcasts will work with software other than iTunes - haven't tried. With the slider bar in iTunes, you can skip through some of the songs. I have found these podcasts useful in trying to find out names/artists of some of the calypsos. :D

To say that I am dancing in my chair in the office, whilst listening to one of the podcasts is a bit of an understatement \:D/

http://www.izatrini.com also has a number of podcasts, lasting roughly 60 mins each which has a number of songs strung together. There is also a list of songs and artists/bands for each podcast, on the site. \:D/
