Hi!
Anyone here seen/used Virgin's infant care chair? Any idea what they are like? Are they like car seats?
Lastly - anyone know if the Virgin 747s to Tobago have the V-Port seatback entertainment?
Cheers!
28 days and counting...

They mention them but don't show them (the seats) and I also can't see about V-Port (am already in the flying club - that's why I could afford a revisit!).
PS I am not getting stressed, I call it preparation

A look at the following site
http://www.v-flyer.com/chance.asp
suggests that none of the planes in the last three months have had V port.
The breakdown on the entertainment systems is approx 75% Nova and 25% Odyssey.
The site is dedicated to all things to do with Virgin flights and shows seat maps for all types of aircraft as well as having a discussion forum.
At least the flight is quicker than BA as it is non-stop! Have a great flight and holiday.

Cheers Graham,
V-Port would have been good but I wasn't hopeful (especially after Virgin cable dropped 24, Lost and Nip/Tuck in my living room recently - the swines!).

I sure did mate - Virgin dropped Sky One mid way through 24, Lost and Nip/Tuck with zero warning.
Fiasco. According to beardy it was all about choice for the consumer...

Marc,
They should spot you the DVD as soon as it is available.
I find it interesting that you are watching 24 in England while I watch Planet Earth in California (and in Tobago too, I'm bringing the 5 disc set!) Small world.
See you out there maybe,
Hugh (July and 1st half of August in Tobago!!!)

I booked an infant care seat for my 2 year old and I was really pleased with it. Basically it is a booster with a back and a 5 point harness. My little boy sat in the seat for the majority of the flight. The only negative side is the virgin staff did not secrue the seat properly and my husband had to do it himself in the end. Also one tip - to prop the seat up the staff placed a couple of pillows behind the booster and when he was asleep we took them out so he was slightly more laid back.
Hope this helps...
Kirsten (Very cheesed off at being back!!! after 2 glorious weeks in Tobago)
